Rear gearbox mount manufactured by our factory for the Hilux Pickup KUN25 & KUN26 models with both 5 Speed manual transmission (5F) only between July/2005-August/2011. The gearbox mount fits from transfer box to the cross member.

The gearbox mount acts as a rubber insulator and supports the back of the gearbox, it takes away the vibration generated by the engine and gearbox. When worn this vibration can be felt through the vehicle, also worth checking the engine mounts.

The gearbox mount with its central restraining bolt has two rubber blocks either side, these can become detached from its metal counterparts which you can't always see, a good tip is to put a pry bar between the gearbox and cross-member to see it they have become debonded, perished or too soft usually caused by contamination from oil.
